Designed to operate in combination with circulating pumps (Aquamax recommended). May be installed in ground to base of lid. Convenient cleaning mechanism enables the owner to maintain the filter using a multi-purpose flushing control at the top of the unit. Position 1 allows for normal filtering, position 2 allows for manual backflush cleaning cycle.
