Rosette-type plant; about 4" to 6" tall. Submerged, green to reddish-brown leaves. Plant appearance and color dependent on light. Requires regular fertilizing with iron-rich fertilizer. Sold as individual rooted (unpotted) plants - about 4" to 6" tall. Use as a foreground plant. - True submerged, aquarium plant. - Native to Sri Lanka. - Spreads by runners and seeds. - Prefers sandy soil.
