Pale-green, translucent, slightly-twisted ribbons of foliage. Can reach 16" long. Requires regular fertilizing. Produces tiny, non-showy flowers. Sold as individual rooted (unpotted) plants - about 6" to 12" long. Use as a midground or foreground plant. - True submerged, aquarium grass. - Native to North America, Haiti, Venezuela, Japan. - Spreads by underground and aerial runners. - Prefers sandy soil.
